Where is the real world

Please, download for fullview. The story behind this comic is about a day of one Czech student and her everyday experience.

This is a project I drew for a multicultural challenge comic seminar. Its focus was problems in the Czech society and we were supposed to choose ones which seemed really heavy to us and try to express ourselves through traditional media.

The comic is in Czech as it is focused on the Czechs, so here's the translation:

1) "Bullshit! Only bullshit! They'r nothing more than pigs, bleh!"
(<- it is typical for Czech middle-aged people to talk like that about politics.. and honestly, not only for middle-aged...)

2) "-and she's all friendly with that Asian!" - "No!"
(<- In the Czech Republic, there is a great minority of Vietnamese, who are not welcomed by many people, although they're sincere, nice, hard-working and non-conflict)

3) "Bleeeh! "You faggooots!"
(<- quite typical, even in here, most people despise gays and lesbians)

4) "And so he hung himself. He was found by- " - "Are you listening??"
(-> gossip, gossip.. and about grave things without much thoughts)

5)"Good night!" "- 'night"
(<- the girl is going to sleep)
...and that's it.
